Having worked with Alex for 6 months now, he stands above the rest as a realtor. As first time home buyers, we really appreciated how Alex met us where we were at. After we reached out, Alex met us quickly and explained everything from what to look for in a house to how to put together a winning offer. His focus on education was invaluable, and with each house we viewed, we learned more and more about what we needed our house to be. Alex’s patience and communication helped our confidence throughout the process, too. Alex was a great resource for connecting us to lenders, insurance agents, and other people who could help us make buying our first home happen. We looked at a LOT of houses together. But when we found the one that checked all the boxes, Alex did everything in his power to give us the best chance and made sure we were informed and comfortable at every move. When you look up the phrase “above and beyond,” it should just be a picture of Alex Mayer. Eight weeks ago, we were looking for an agent that showed care and commitment beyond just showing us houses and grabbing a paycheck. We’ve bought and sold several houses out of state and had had our share of so-so agents. We needed someone trustworthy and easy to talk to, but also direct and driven. Thank goodness we found Alex. He’s hands down the best agent we’ve ever worked with. And, on a more important note, he’s such a solid, good person that you’ll want to be friends with him after the closing. A few reasons’ Alex is awesome: - He keeps up on area construction/future building plans, etc. For example, one house we looked at was in an area slated for major changes in the coming years but is currently quiet and construction-free. He took it upon himself to research this and send us the information. - Within a few hours of our first phone call, he ‘Zoomed’ a house we were interested in while we still lived in Alaska. - He insisted on showing us house after house until we were ready to make the leap, never making us feel rushed to finish a sale - He handled a last-minute walk-through issue with ease - He let us pet his dogs So, if you’re looking for someone who is educated, responsive, decisive and a nice person – I can’t recommend Alex Mayer enough.
