I’ve known Alex Mayer for over 12 years – before he became recognized as one of the best real estate agents in Rochester MN. Even in Alex’s last career he was a top producer and taught me a lot about that industry, which is where I am today. Alex went into real estate in 2016 and it’s been fun to watch his brand become the most recognizable in the city. Six years ago when I decided to buy my first home he was the one I reached out to. This time around it was to sell that home and relocate out of state. Alex is super knowledgeable about the market. He showed where the market was currently and where it was trending. In the fall of 2026 there are a lot of sellers – on my street we had five for sale signs. I was relocating for work to another state so we had to move. Alex showed us all the data, suggested a competitive pricing recommendation, and tied it in with his Active Marketing strategy. There were professional photos and video being advertised everywhere. The result was we received an above asking offer only a few days on the market. We did have a several issues with the buyer’s lender and the bank correcting erroneous date when assessing the condition of our home. Alex quickly had multiple contracts assess the issue and presented the proper measurements to the bank. It didn’t work, but we appreciated that he made the additional effort. It was a tough experience, but I know that if we didn’t have Alex Mayer as our real estate agent it would have been way worse. Even as everything was happening I remember saying “Could you imagine if Alex Mayer wasn’t our agent?” His communication is excellent. He took every opportunity to protect us and ease our minds during this time. Alex even personally scouted out a great agent where we were moving too. We closed on that purchase yesterday. I know that without Alex Mayer as our agent this would not have been possible. If you are buying or selling in Rochester MN you need to hire Alex Mayer as your realtor.
